Cataloging Made Easy

Cataloging Made Easy by Sandra Williams is a very helpful article that clarifies many of the terms I have been learning this semester in LM 514.  I am finding that cataloging is like a new language.  As the semester progresses I become more familiar with the terms and I begin to slowly understand the process of cataloging.  Sandra Williams' article is one that I will definitely print and keep to refer to in the future.  I like that it contains brief, yet very specific information regarding all of the most important cataloging terms.  Much of what she mentioned about subject heading consistency confirms what we have been learning this semester.  I also liked the list of online sources of cataloging records.  I look forward to becoming even more familiar with the content in the article as this semester continues!
